Engine Issue Forces Flight Bound for SFO to be Diverted, Officials Say
Delta Airlines and the FAA say the flight was headed to SFO from New York.

SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, CA – A Delta Air Lines flight bound for San Francisco International Airport from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport was diverted to Ohio Wednesday because of an issue with its left engine, spokespeople from Delta and the Federal Aviation Administration said.
Delta Flight 425, a Boeing 757, was diverted to Port Columbus International Airport and landed without incident at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time, FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said.
The 118 passengers boarded another plane and landed safely in San Francisco Thursday at 2 a.m.
