
Join the South San Francisco City Council at the Performing Arts Center on Friday, April 5, 2013, in the Centennial Tower for another evening of cool jazz provided by the acclaimed Dave Miller Trio featuring vocalist Rebecca DuMaine. The band will showcase tunes from its latest recording sessions at Fantasy Studios, as well as its CD, “Deed I Do,” released on Summit Records in February 2012. The Trio’s prior Summit Records release, “Rapture,” reached number 16 on national air time in 2011. The Trio and Ms. DuMaine perform regularly in San Francisco and the South Bay in public venues and for private events and were recently featured at Club Fox in Redwood City.
This is a fundraiser to benefit the South San Francisco Community Outreach Program. This program, in partnership with the City Council and Fire Department, brings together residents, businesses and advocacy groups for the elderly, persons with special needs and disadvantaged youth.
Doors open at 7:15 PM, program begins at 8:00 PM, delectable edibles and more will be offered with a no-host wine bar. Tickets are $35.00 per person or $60.00 per couple.
