First Bank Gives Hope to Students In The Bay Area
Banking on Our Future pupils celebrate graduation from financial literacy classes

Students in Operation HOPE’s Banking on Our Future (BOOF) financial literacy classes recently celebrated their graduation with First Bank’s Francis Lau and Operation HOPE’s Gregory Collins.
Lau, a longtime volunteer instructor for Banking on Our Future, is Vice President and Area Manager at First Bank in San Francisco. Collins is Program Manager Youth Empowerment for Operation HOPE in the Oakland/Bay Area.
A division of Operation HOPE, Banking on Our Future focuses on keeping the most at risk youth from repeating the cycles of poverty and despair by teaching them basic financial literacy.
