Five Most Moved to Cities in the San Francisco Bay Area

San Francisco Ranks #1 Most Moved to City

As fall settles in, so do many of you into your new homes. The 2015 busy moving season has concluded. For those of you that moved during the busy season of May-August, we hope at this point, that the moving boxes have been unpacked and recycled. And, now, you are enjoying a new life in a new hood. Perhaps, enjoying a shorter commute or a new job and making friends in your new community? My team at NorthStar Moving took a look back at the moving season of 2015 and compiled the Top Five Cities Moved To in the San Francisco Bay Area.

It is no surprise that San Francisco ranks as the #1 city moved to as its beauty, restaurants, outdoor activities, job opportunities and more continues to draw people from all over. San Jose, the third-largest city by population in California and the tenth-largest by population in the United States, ranks #2 on the list, while Oakland known for its sustainability practices falls into third place for 2015. San Mateo, the high-tech enclave of Silicon Valley, ranks #4 and, last, but certainly not least, Berkeley, CA completes the top five list, perhaps for its parks, culture and, no doubt, for the original world renowned University of California. Go Bears!

What do you think will be the top five cities next year?
