Former city council candidate Johnny "Midnight" Rankins sang to the city council last night as an ode to the beauty of South San Francisco.
Johnny "Midnight" Rankins may have lost the city council race on Tuesday, but he's not going down quietly.
Rankins sang "What a Wonderful World" during the public comments portion of Wednesday night's city council meeting as an ode to the beauty of South City.
"It's still a wonderful world, a wonderful town," Rankins said. "I'm thankful I had the chance to work for the city of South San Francisco."
