Heat Advisory Issued For South San Francisco As HOT Weather Returns To Bay Area

BAY AREA, CA — After a weekend of triple-digit temperatures across the Bay Area, Monday was expected to bring similar heat to "all areas away from the ocean," the National Weather Service forecast said. It won't be until mid-to-late week that the region will see some relief overall, though those on the coastline are in for much more agreeable weather as of Monday.

"Hot temperatures are expected again inland areas today with relief in temperatures staying confined to the coast, but cooling will reach inland areas tonight and Tuesday," the NWS said. "Temperatures will cool Wednesday as well prior to another warming trend late in the week."

As for South San Francisco in particular, here's what the NWS forecast has in store:

Sunny, with a high near 75. Light southwest wind becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.
