Hillside Blvd. Market Robbed In SSF
The suspect told the cashier he had a gun, police said.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA – A man claiming to have a gun robbed a market in South San Francisco on Monday afternoon, according to police.
The robbery occurred shortly after 2 p.m. in the 200 block of Hillside Boulevard.
The suspect entered the market and demanded money from the cashier while saying he had a gun, police said.

The employee didn't see a firearm but handed over cash to the suspect out of fear, and the suspect then fled west on Hillside Boulevard toward North Spruce Avenue, according to police.
The suspect was described as a light-skinned Hispanic man believed to be in his 20s who is about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a heavy build, short cropped hair, a mustache, and was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, gray
sweatpants and white sneakers, police said.
