Homicide Arrest Made In South San Francisco

The murder victim was discovered in shrubbery on Airport Boulevard, police said.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A 34-year-old man was arrested Monday on suspicion of homicide after police responded to an assault call and found the victim dead in bushes on Airport Boulevard in South San Francisco, according to authorities.

Paramedics and officers from the South San Francisco police and fire departments were called at about 10 a.m. to the 800 block of Airport for a report of an assault that possibly left a person unconscious, officials said.

The victim, a 62-year-old South San Francisco man, who was not identified, was found partially concealed by shrubbery and deceased, police said.

The suspect, Vincent Osegueda of South San Francisco, was spotted "exting a nearby secluded area" and arrested, the department said. He was booked in the San Mateo County Jail.
