Last Day to Turn in Your Ballot in County Supervisor Race
The District 1 supervisor seat covers South San Francisco.

Today is the last day that South San Francisco residents can cast their vote in the special election, which will determine who fills the District 1 spot on the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors.Β
This is an all-mail election, the first time the county has filled a seat on the Board of Supervisors this way. To be counted, your ballot must be received by today--postmarks don't count--so your best bet if you haven't sent it off yet is to deliver it by hand.Β
Ballots can be dropped off atΒ Β in the city clerk's office until 5 p.m. today, as well as at the Β at 40 Tower Road or the Redwood City County Elections Office at 555 County Center until 8 p.m. Voters can also vote in person at the elections offices.

District 1 covers South San Francisco, as well as San Bruno, Burlingame, Millbrae, Hillsborough and part of San Mateo.

Also today, voters in four Bay Area counties, including San Mateo County, will decide on 12 school parcel tax measures. None of the measures are for the South San Francisco Unified School District.
