'Life-Threatening' Injuries Reported as Motorcyclist Is Hit in South San Francisco, Police Say

Police are now looking for any witnesses to the incident. (breaking)

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA β€” A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries when they were hit by a vehicle on El Camino Real on Tuesday afternoon, the South San Francisco Police Department reports.

The collision occurred at about 3:05 p.m. at the intersection of El Camino Real and Southwood Drive, police said.

"The motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local trauma hospital for treatment," police said in a news release.

Now, as the collision is under investigation, police are looking for any witnesses to the crash. Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact South San Francisco police Officer Patrick Ferretti at (650) 829-7224.
