The South San Francisco Farmers Market , and mothers in attendance will get special recognition.
In honor of Mother’s Day, mothers who go the parking lot of to pick up some fresh produce or take in the market’s live music will get fresh flowers. Also, the first 50 shoppers who show up can expect free reusable canvas shopping bags.
So show up early—the market starts at 9 a.m. and runs to 1 p.m.—and expect to see most of the same vendors as last year. Fresh and seasonal produce is the main attraction, though if you’re itching for stone fruit, you’re going to have to wait a week or two because this year’s weather pushed back the harvesting season.
