Man Found Fatally Shot In Brisbane Home; Police Investigating

BRISBANE, CA — Police are investigating after a man was found fatally shot inside a home in Brisbane, police said.

Police responded around 4:19 p.m. Monday to a report of a home invasion on the 300 block of Alvarado Street. Investigators later determined the man's death was a random incident, and not a home invasion or robbery, according to the Brisbane Police Department.

Responding officers found the man dead at the scene with gunshot wounds. The resident of the home was found safe inside and is cooperating with police, authorities said.
