MASTERWORKS CHORALE - Life is a Cabaret - Songs of Kander & Ebb - June 3, 4

San Mateo - Masterworks Chorale presents its final concert of the 53rd Season: a rousing, joyous, touching compilation of music from the famous Broadway team of Kander & Ebb. Songs from Cabaret, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman, and New York, New York, plus many others will be performed by our 90-voice chorus with keyboard and percussion, led by award winning Artistic Director Dr. Bryan Baker.

This concert revue will include “Cabaret”, “Maybe this Time”, “Coffee in a Cardboard Cup”, “Mr. Cellophane”, ”Yes”, and many more songs . The Rodgers and Hammerstein of the second half of the Twentieth Century, Kander and Ebb tackle serious, challenging subjects with gutsy music that captures the flavor of a specific time and place with vitality and brilliantly droll, penetrating lyrics.

Performances are on Saturday, June 3, at 8pm and Sunday, June 4 at 4pm.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door for adults, $10 for students.
