UPDATE: Peninsula Police Locate Missing Mother, Son

South San Francisco police said that a local woman and her son had not been seen since she picked the boy up from school Monday.

Vaelupe “Daisy” Ena, 34, and her son Nemiah were reported missing Wednesday by concerned family members who had not seen them since Vaelupe picked up her son at an elementary school in South San Francisco on Monday, police said.

After a plea for public assistance in locating them, they were found safe Monday afternoon, police said. No additional details about where they’d been were provided.

South San Francisco police are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman and her 8-year-old son who went missing Monday.

Vaelupe “Daisy” Ena, 34, and her son Nemiah were reported missing Wednesday by concerned family members who have not seen them since Vaelupe picked up her son at an elementary school in South San Francisco on Monday, police said.

They did not return to their home that evening and family members said that is out of character, according to police.

No foul play is suspected, but the family is anxious to check on the well-being of the mother, who also goes by Lupe, and her son, who has special needs, police said.
