Mom, Dad Attacked And Robbed In Front Of Kids At SSF Bus Stop

Police say they are looking for the three men responsible for the attack.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A man and woman were attacked in front of their kids in a violent South San Francisco robbery this week, police said. The group was waiting at a local bus stop when three masked men committed the crime.

The incident began around 8 p.m. Wednesday at the corner of Linden and California avenues, according to police. When the trio clad in black approached the family, one of the three suspects told the man to hand over all of his money while holding out a knife.

"When the victim refused, the suspect punched the victim in the face, causing the victim to fall to the ground," police said in a news release. "Two of the suspects then began punching and kicking the male victim."

While the dad was being attacked, a third suspect ripped jewelry right off the mother's neck and "then joined the other two suspects in punching and kicking the male victim," police said.

Before ultimately running away westbound, the trio grabbed the man's wallet, according to police.

The suspect with the knife was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black bandana over his face, while the other two suspects were described as wearing black hooded sweatshirts and black ski masks
covering their faces, police said.
