Monday, Sept. 29 is National Coffee Day, with national chains and local cafes offering deals to celebrate.

When you’re taking a coffee break at work today, keep in mind that Sept. 29 is National Coffee Day and a number of national outlets are getting in on the fun with freebies and discounts.
Starbucks curiously doesn’t offer a nationwide deal on this day, but they are giving customers free shipping on orders over $30 on their website.
Peet’s Coffee & Tea is offering a buy one get one free special all day, according to Facebook.

In honor of the day to celebrate all things java, IHOP is giving customers a chance to win a free cup of coffee for a year. According to the IHOP Facebook page,“Snap a photo of your IHOP coffee mug, tag it #IHOPMug and #Entry and you’ll be entered for a chance to win!”
Krispy Kreme stores are giving loyal customers a free cup of coffee to wash down those addictive donuts.
