Mullin Raises Nearly $100,000 in Two Months

Information just released by the Federal Election Commission and the California Secretary of State shows experienced politicians are able to raise healthy amounts of money compared to their challengers.

South San Francisco Councilmember Kevin Mullin has raised close to $100,000 for his campaign to represent District 22 in the California Assembly and has over $76,000 cash on hand, according to the latest FEC filings.

District 22 includes South San Francisco and most of San Mateo County. Mullin has been called the favorite in the race given that he's the Democrat in an overwhelmingly Democratic area and his opponent, Mark Gilham, has no political experience.
