One Person Injured in Daly City Fire
According to fire officials, firefighters were able to quickly contain the blaze to the living room.

DALY CITY, CA β One person was injured in a residential fire this week in Daly City, according to fire officials.
Fire officials said firefighters responded to an address in the 100 block of Shipley Avenue at 12:45 p.m. Monday on reports of heavy smoke coming from the front of a two-story home.
According to fire officials, firefighters were able to quickly contain the blaze to the living room, knocking it down within several minutes of arrival.

A person living at the home was treated by medical personnel at the scene for smoke inhalation before being taken to a hospital for further evaluation.
There were no other injuries reported.

Fire crews remained on scene for about an hour after extinguishing the fire, checking for hotspots.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
