Online Auction to Support Refugees in the U.S.
Bid on unique items from around the world to help support those in need!
I’m reaching out let you know about an exciting event happening at The Refugee Center Online, a nonprofit that serves refugee populations around the U.S.
The Refugee Center Online (RCO) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit whose mission is to facilitate successful resettlement of refugees here in the U.S. Refugees, individuals who have fled their home countries due to violence, war and persecution, face many challenges with differences in language, education and culture as they adjust to life in the U.S. RCO helps bridge this gap by providing free services to resettled refugees that include educational opportunities, access to resources, community building, and one-on-one mentoring. Our language specific and culturally-competent online center helps refugees gain knowledge and skills in order to lead prosperous and fulfilling lives.

Starting today, 11/16, the RCO will be holding its annual online E-Auction with 100% of proceeds going directly to support refugees in the U.S. The E-Auction has been a major success in the past, with hundreds of individuals around the country bidding online to support the RCO’s efforts to help refugees build new lives in the US. The theme of this year’s auction is The Road Less Traveled and will feature many unique items that reflect our ever-increasing global community. By bidding on one of these beautiful items, you can explore a piece of another culture.
The auction, which takes place on Ebay’s Charitable Giving site,www.ebay.com/refugee-help, starts today and ends Sunday, November 23rd.
