Peninsula Food Runners Offering Free Service to Pick Up Food for the Shelters

Peninsula food Runners is a new non profit organization that provide donors a free service of picking up donated food and taking it to the shelters in the San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. Besides addressing hunger, we are also reducing food waste, landfill waste, rodent productions, and harmful gases to our environment. 

Presently, Peninsula Food Runners is looking for donors (restaurants, caterers, banquet/parties hosts, company cafeterias, grocery stores, etc ) to donate.

Summer months are most difficult for many of the shelters due to low donations.  Please let everyone know that this service is free and donated food can be delivered to those who are hungry by just going to the www.peninsulafoodrunners.org and signing up as a donor.  We also welcome volunteers and any financial donations.
