Peninsula House Fire Displaces 2
Firefighters say the most severe fire damage was in a closet in the center of the home.

PACIFICA, CA β Two people were displaced this week as their Pacifica home went up in flames, the North County Fire Authority reports. The blaze, which broke out Thursday afternoon at a residence on Pacific Avenue, appears to have started in a closet.
Fire crews say they were called to the scene around 4:45 p.m. and found heavy smoke coming from the house but were able to get into the home through the front door.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire and limit severe fire damage to a closet in the center of the home but there was heavy smoke damage to the rest of the house, thus displacing those who lived there. They received help finding temporary housing from the American Red Cross.
