Peninsula Woman Shoots Man, Unintentionally: Police
"Preliminary investigation indicates the shooting was unintentional, but involved negligence," police said of of the incident.

PACIFICA, CA β A Pacifica woman was arrested on suspicion of negligently discharging a firearm after she "unintentionally" allegedly shot and wounded a man this week, police say. Officers say they responded around 6:40 a.m. Sunday to the general area of 900 Mirador Terrace on a report of a shooting.
"Upon arrival, officers located a male Pacifica resident in the street suffering from a gunshot wound. The male subject was alert and conscious," police said in a news release. "He was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition."
Linda Miles, 54, was there as well, and the officers arrested her on suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm resulting in an injury, a felony, police said. She was booked into the San Mateo County Jail.

"Preliminary investigation indicates the shooting was unintentional, but involved negligence," police said. "Investigation into this incident is continuing by Pacifica Police detectives."
