Trespasser Struck By Caltrain, Hospitalized [UPDATE]
BREAKING: Caltrain officials say a person was hit on their tracks this afternoon.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A person was hit by a locomotive on Caltrain's tracks in San Francisco this afternoon, the transportation agency reports. The person, who was trespassing, was struck at 2:45 p.m. at 16th Street in San Francisco, according to Caltrain Spokesman Dan Lieberman. The person was taken to the hospital.
Northbound train number 151 held in place for approximately 45 minutes as emergency personnel cleared the tracks. There were 108 passengers aboard, according to Lieberman.
Delays were reported between 34 and 55 minutes out of San Francisco.
