The Cultural Arts Commission of South San Francisco hosted a picnic on Sunday to raise money to purchase city art, host art programs and award scholarships.

The commission charged a small fee at the door. J&J Barbeque donated its time and food to the picnic. Quilts, drawings, paintings and gift baskets were auctioned off at the event.
