Robert Talbott announced that it will launch its shop-in-shop retail concept at The Hound Clothiers with a grand opening event on April 22.

Robert Talbott announced that it will launch its shop-in-shop retail concept at The Hound Clothiers in San Francisco with a grand opening event on April 22. Robert Talbott launched the shop-in-shop retail concept in 2014 to provide patrons of high-end independent retailers with an authentic Robert Talbott experience and a comprehensive display of the brand’s full lifestyle collection. This opening marks Robert Talbott’s first shop-in-shop of 2015, and fourth shop since April of 2014.

Located in the historic Hallidie building at 140 Sutter Street, the 800 square foot area is Robert Talbott’s largest shop-in-shop to date and is designed to reflect the brand’s Monterey roots. The space will include full-scale imagery of the Monterey coastline, fixtures crafted from blonde beachwood, maple hardwood flooring, and Carmel stone accents throughout to create a sophisticated shopping experience for customers. The area will display the entire Robert Talbott collection, including dress shirts and neckwear made in Monterey, as well as various categories in sportswear and tailored clothing.

β€œWe are thrilled that The Hound has partnered with us to open a Robert Talbott shop-in-shop. The Hound is one of our longstanding retail partners, and shares our dedication to quality and sophistication, making them a perfect fit for this initiative,” commented Bob Corliss, President and CEO of Robert Talbott, Inc. β€œThis is our third shop-in-shop in California – La Jolla, Beverly Hills, and now San Francisco – and we are excited to be able to grow our brand and further engage our Californian consumers.”

To celebrate the launch, Robert Talbott and The Hound will host a cocktail reception for the store’s clientele from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 22, and attendees will enjoy wines from Talbott Vineyards and hors d’oeuvres as they are introduced to the branded experience. Additionally, the event will feature special product promotions and giveaways, as well as an on-site Robert Talbott seamstress to construct the brand’s authentic seven-fold ties.

β€œThe Hound’s clientele constantly seeks the finest that San Francisco has to offer, and we are excited to open a Robert Talbott shop-in-shop to provide them with the luxury shopping experience and product they demand,” commented Walter Schorno, Founder of The Hound Clothiers. β€œI’ve worked with Robert Talbott for more than 40 years, and have always appreciated their values and truly believe they are a world-class brand. Their American heritage and Monterey roots makes our partnership seamless, and one that I feel our customers will appreciate.”
