Subject: Reminder: City of South San Francisco Blood Drive on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, 9AM-3PM
Taking your family to the amusement park. Giving blood. What do these two things have in common? YOU! That's right. As a special thank you to all donors and volunteers, the American Red Cross has partnered with Cedar Fair theme parks, i.e. California's Great America and Knott's Berry Farm, and offering discounted ticket pricing for the 2017 season. Plus, Cedar Fair will donate $2 of every ticket sale back to the American Red Cross! It's a win-win as you will be bringing smiles not only to your family but also the families of the patients who need your life-saving blood.

Thank you for helping to spread the word about this important event!
Donating blood is a simple, four-step process: (1) Registration; (2) Medical History and Mini Physical; (3) Donation; and (4) Refreshments. One pint of blood is given during a donation. Please allow about one hour.
Why is donating blood important and life-saving? Blood and blood products are necessary for individuals who require transfusions after accidents that may send them to hospital emergency rooms. Blood is also used for premature infants, cancer patients, and transplant patients.
