South San Francisco Power Outage Affects Thousands

PG&E reports the outage started at 11:10 a.m. Friday

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Thousands of people were briefly without power in the South San Francisco area Friday, PG&E reports.

According to the company, the outage was reported at 11:10 a.m., in the area highlighted in the map above. A total of 3,215 customers were initially impacted, and at this point, the cause is unknown.

Power was restored to all but 500 people by 12:30 p.m., and was expected to be restored to all by 5 p.m.
