South San Francisco Purse Thief Snatches Woman's Bag in Broad Daylight: Police

Police are asking any witnesses to come forward: Breaking.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA – South San Francisco police are looking for witnesses or information related to a purse-snatching that was reported in town over the weekend.

According to the police agency, a woman was walking in the 600 block of Baden Avenue when the suspect grabbed her purse from behind on Sunday around 10:40 a.m., according to police.

He ran off in the direction of Third Lane. He is described by police only as a young adult male who was wearing a light colored top and light pants.

The victim was not hurt during the purse snatching, police said.
