South San Francisco Weather: Heat Advisory In Effect This Weekend
National Weather Service officials say temperatures at some locations across the Bay Area will be up to 20 degrees above average.
If you're planning your weekend around the Peninsula, get ready for a hot one. National Weather Service officials predict that many locations will see triple-digit temperatures and have issued a heat advisory from Saturday through Monday. It'll be a little cooler and breezy in South San Francisco, but the heat advisory does still apply to town.
"A heat advisory is in effect for most inland locations for this weekend into early next week as temperatures warm to as much as 20 degrees above seasonal averages and begin to pose potential heat related illnesses," the NWS said. "Dry weather conditions and mostly clear skies will also prevail through the forecast period."
Forecasters suggest to try to limit your outdoor activity during this time, and make sure to drink plenty of water.

Sunny, with a high near 72. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 22 to 28 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 56. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 24 to 29 mph decreasing to 17 to 22 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
Saturday
Sunny, with a high near 74. Breezy, with a west wind 13 to 18 mph increasing to 19 to 24 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph.

Clear, with a low around 58. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph decreasing to 14 to 19 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 36 mph.
Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 80. West wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.
