South SF Suspect In Connection With Bank Robbery
Police in South San Francisco on Friday arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery.
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Police in South San Francisco on Friday arrested a man in connection with a bank robbery.
Julio Rodarte, 37, of South San Francisco, was arrested on suspicion of robbery, obstructing and threatening a peace officer and parole violation, according to the South San Francisco Police Department.
On Friday at 10:28 a.m., officers responded to a bank in the 300 block of Linden Avenue on a report of a robbery that had just occurred.

Police said a man approached the teller, demanded cash and fled the scene on foot with the stolen money.
Responding officers located the suspect, identified as Rodarto, in the 500 block Cypress Avenue.
Police said he was found to be in possession of the stolen money and threatened to physically harm officers.

He was ultimately taken into custody and arrested without incident.
