'Spooktacular' Halloween Weather On Tap For South San Francisco

As we head into Halloween week here on the Peninsula, weather forecasters are predicting a great outdoor setting for all those ghouls, goblins, fairies and other trick-or-treaters in your life.

"The Halloween forecast is expected to be spooktacular!" the National Weather Service says of this Tuesday in the Bay Area.

Dry, seasonal averages are expected through midweek — before the weather takes a wet turn later in the week, the NWS said in its forecast discussion on Monday.

"A significant change in the weather pattern is then likely late in the week that will bring widespread rainfall to the region through the upcoming weekend," forecasters said.

Here's the NWS Halloween weather forecast for South San Francisco, along with what you can expect the rest of the week:

Partly sunny, with a high near 60. Breezy, with a west wind 21 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph.

Tonight
Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. Breezy, with a west wind 17 to 22 mph decreasing to 6 to 11 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 63. Light and variable wind becoming west southwest 6 to 11 mph in the afternoon.

Mostly clear, with a low around 53. West southwest wind 8 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
