SSF Man Nabbed For Child Molestation Takes Plea Deal
Anthony Satriano pleaded no contest to felony child molestation, attempted child molestation, and using a minor for sex acts.

A 33-year-old man who worked as an elementary school teacher in San Mateo has pleaded no contest to child molestation charges, prosecutors said Monday.
Anthony Satriano, a South San Francisco resident, entered the plea Friday to charges of felony child molestation, attempted child molestation, and using a minor for sex acts, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office.
Satriano worked at St. Matthew's Episcopal Day School at 16 Baldwin Ave. in San Mateo and an investigation began in April when school officials contacted police regarding an alleged inappropriate interaction with one of his students.

According to police, the student said Satriano made inappropriate comments to her and asked her to wear a pair of tights.
Investigators found photos of young girls on his phone, some in lewd positions, and determined Satriano asked the children to pose in specific clothing for the purpose of photographing them, prosecutors said.

Satriano entered the no contest plea on the condition that he is sentenced to no more than eight years in prison, and he will also have to register as a sex offender, according to the district attorney's office.
St. Matthew's officials said they placed Satriano on administrative leave as soon as they learned of the allegations and he is no longer an employee there.
During his tenure, he worked with children ages 5-8 in the before- and after-school programs, prosecutors said.
He will return to court on Feb. 23 for sentencing. His defense attorney Steve Chase was not immediately available.
