UPDATED: Suicidal Person Prompts SWAT Call, Road Closures in SF
San Francisco police say they closed a portion of town during the incident.

San Francisco police have closed off a block of town, as they work to negotiate with a barricaded suicidal suspect.
SFPD sent out the following alert via Facebook at around 12:30 p.m.

“Activity in the Mission District. Mission Street between 23rd and 24th shut down. Suicidal person, SFPD Negotiators at work. Avoid area if possible.”
KTVU reports that the person is barricaded inside an area hotel.
