Suspect Nabbed in San Bruno Home Robbery

Police say a local man was arrested in connection to the crime.

Police arrested a suspect Thursday in a home burglary in San Bruno, police said.

Officers arrested San Bruno resident Randy Norman, 32, on suspicion of burglarizing a home Oct. 10, according to police.

Officers responded at about 3:30 p.m. on a report of the alleged burglary at the home in the 1400 block of Park Avenue, police said.

Officers said that a person allegedly forced their way into the home though a side door. The suspect allegedly ransacked the home, took some property and fled undetected, police said.

Officers gathered evidence that allowed them to identify Norman as the suspect and officers have since booked him into the San Mateo County Jail, according to police.
