Update: Suspicious Item Cleared at SFO

The Terminal 2 security checkpoint at San Francisco International Airport is reopening after it was closed due to a suspicious item.

Officials said the package has been cleared. Passengers at Terminal 2 were being rerouted while the package was being cleared. 

Passengers at the scene reported being evacuated from the terminal.
