'Suspicious Package' At SFO Leads To Partial Evacuation
BREAKING: A box that was brought to a counter at the airport was investigated, airport officials say.
SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, CA — Officials at San Francisco International Airport investigated a suspicious package early this morning, airport officials said.
According to airport spokesman Doug Yakel, a passenger at the Cathay Pacific ticket counter in the International Terminal had a box that needed to be cleared.
A portion of the terminal was evacuated as officials investigated the box, Yakel said.

Shortly after midnight the box was deemed safe and all areas of the terminal were reopened, Yakel said.
