Two Alarm Fire Breaks Out at Home Under Construction

Crews were on scene for more than five hours making sure the fire was out.

BRISBANE, CA — A single-family home that was under construction sustained major damage in a two-alarm fire in Brisbane late Thursday morning, according to firefighters.

Crews responded to the first block of Thomas Avenue at 11:56 a.m. to find a single-story home with heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof and sides of the structure.

Firefighters surrounded the building and contained the fire. The house didn't have sheetrock on any of the interior walls or attic space yet and it sustained major damage, fire officials said.
