Walking in Their Shoes

USAgain, a local textile recycling company has joined forces with the Christopher LaVell Jones foundation, a well known Oakland based organization that provides community and advocacy services to the families of murder victims in the area, in an effort to raise more funds for the Chris Jones’ memorial scholarship fund and camp activities.

After the overwhelming response from our successful shoe drive in July, where we collected 600 pairs of shoes, we are hosting our second drive. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, at the Seventh Ave Baptist Church, 1740 7th Ave Oakland, CA 94606.
