What's Your Favorite Christmas Special or Movie?

Christmas television specials and movies have become an American tradition passed down from generation to generation.

Fifty years ago, TV audiences first watched “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Sure the animation is not the best, but they both remain classics that millions of people watch each year.

They may no longer be appointment television because of DVRs and DVDs, but you will likely stop on any of those Christmas specials to this day and you might even have your DVR set up to record them.

What’s your favorite Christmas special? Is it Rudolph or Charlie Brown? Do you prefer “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” and the Whos in Whoville or “Frosty the Snowman” and cry when Frosty melts?

Does “The Year Without a Santa Claus” get you singing about “Heat Miser” or does “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” make you remember sitting in front of the TV as a child?

Or is your favorite something more obscure like “Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas” or “Christmas Comes to Pac-Land”?
