Woman Robbed at Knife-Point, Injured in South San Francisco

Police said the suspect got away with her wallet, cash, and a Nicaraguan identification card.

A South San Francisco woman was wounded Monday afternoon when a man robbed her at knifepoint, according to police.

The victim, 35, was walking on the 200 block of California Avenue at about 2:30 P.M. when a man with a knife demanded her money.

Police said the suspect got away with her wallet, cash, and a Nicaraguan identification card.

The victim struggled during the robbery and suffered superficial lacerations that were not life-threatening, according to police. She was treated at a hospital and released.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man in his 20s, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall with a muscular build. He was wearing a t-shirt with red, white and blue lettering and an unknown symbol in the design, according to police.
