• Newport Beach Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder After Leading Police On Chase (patch.com) — A deadly stabbing and police chase that began at Beach Boulevard and Chapman Avenue in Stanton left a 45-year-old man fatally injured and a 22-year-old Newport Beach man jailed on suspicion of murder. Deputies used 911 calls and license plate reader data to track the suspect, who was arrested after crashing into another vehicle in Anaheim. Authorities have not yet released the victim's cause of death.
