Clumsy Armed Robber Nearly Crushed By Counter: Video
A bumbling armed robber suspected of robbing a series of LA convenience stores nearly got herself crushed when she tipped over a counter.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Police are looking for a bumbling armed robber who nearly got herself pinned underneath the counter at a Los Angeles convenience store when she tried to rob it.
Los Angeles police released surveillance video of the clumsy robbery in hopes that someone will recognize the woman, who is suspected in a series of convenience store robberies. The latest incident occurred Tuesday in South Los Angeles.
The crime spree began on Jan. 11, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Since then, she is believed to have committed five additional robberies, according to investigators.
In the video released this week, a woman approaches the counter and whips out a handgun, aiming it at the clerk who also had a toddler with her behind the counter. When the robber attempts to hop over the counter, it tips over under her. Half buried under snacks she continues her holdup.
