Military Offered Free Admission To 'Thank You For Your Service' Today

Up to 10,000 servicemen and women will be given free admission to the Dreamworks film "Thank You For Your Service' at AMC theaters.

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA — Up to 10,000 free tickets for DreamWorks Pictures' "Thank You for Your Service" will be handed out to U.S. veterans and active-duty service members at more than 400 AMC locations nationwide Thursday for same-day preview screenings of the film, which follows a group of soldiers who struggle to integrate back into family and civilian life upon their return from Iraq.

Each of the first 25 servicemembers -- per location -- who present a valid, government-issued ID will be given free admission to the 7 p.m. preview screening on Oct. 26, according to Universal Pictures and AMC Theatres. The film opens in theaters nationwide the following day.

The promotion will be available at all AMC theaters showing the film. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and may only be picked up at the AMC box office on the day of the screening, with a limit of one free ticket for each military ID presented while supplies last.
