LA event promoter and visionary, Diego Gonzalez, who owns the landmark Vogue Theatre, recommends catching this unique one of a kind collection of over 350 artifacts from the private collection of Pink Floyd, before it leaves. He has seen a lot of folks disappointed because they waited too long and lost the occasion to participate in the electrifying, intoxicating delight. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It’s already appeared in five European countries where over 400,000 have had the gift of viewing the magnum opus.

The extravaganza is apropos for all ages and an astonishing astounding spectacle whether or not you are a fan. Generations of families have flocked to the prior events, where grandparents, grandchildren, parents, and children can share in the coveted experience. The Vogue Theatre has been renovated and restored specifically to house the Pink Floyd Exhibition, with rooms duplicating the qualities of the concerts as they were when they were live. You can download the audio or observe everything without headphones. It’s an immersive trip down memory lane.

According to Diego, Pink Floyd is endearing and enduring to the masses because “They saved a lot of souls through good times and bad times. They were born in a time where the rock scene was evolving. They created new music with psychedelic rock. Their music might not be hard to play but it’s how they expressed the chords that was magical. They had the intuition and inspiration to do this. They’re one of the most important bands that ever existed. Even though they had to compete with a lot of other musical geniuses, they will always remain at the top of the list of greats, in the same vein as the Beatles.”

Diego continues, “The brilliance of Pink Floyd will never happen again and can’t be replicated. The influence of this band in the world altered the direction of music. Not only their music, but their covers, e.g. “The Dark Side of the Moon” was one of the most memorable album covers. They have big arms artistically, musically, and in movies along with other classic scores. “The Wall” was hugely significant in cinema history.”

Highlights of the exhibit include: the cane that one of the teachers used when they wrote “The Wall;” drawings and instruments from tours; inflatables; original hand written lyrics; a laser show; huge statues; and posters from their first performances when they were a garage band. "Many are brought to tears just seeing the guitar used in “Wish You Were Here,” one of the most brilliant songs ever recorded," Diego reiterates.

There are also several personal drawings created by Syd Barrett in 1967. Diego reveals that some will be weeping, others will be smiling. The masterpiece makes an impression on audiences with a primal intensity. Expect to be beaming from head to toe, enveloped in nostalgia of days gone by when things were lighter and brighter.

Recapture your youth or revel in it for the first time through the eyes of those lucky enough to have celebrated Pink Floyd in their glorious hey day. Share divine moments with those you care about. You don’t have to go far to find the golden ticket. Visiting Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains will be more rewarding than winning the lottery.

Diego highly respects Pink Floyd for their ability to reach people on a spiritual level, not just an intellectual one. “Their lyrics and music will touch your soul. That’s what makes them so special. They produce this great feeling of security and positivity, evoking both happy and sad emotions. Running the gamut of sensations, people are profoundly and deeply affected.”
