Schwarzenegger Will Leave 'Celebrity Apprentice,' Blames Trump's Unpopularity
Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said "Celebrity Apprentice" suffered from its ties to the polarizing president: BREAKING.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn’t want to do another season of NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice" because its association with President Donald Trump makes it too toxic, he announced Friday.
California’s former governor said he enjoyed the experience but said the show suffered because of its ties to such a controversial figure.
"It's not about the show because everyone I ran into came up to me and said 'I love the show... but I turned it off because as soon as I read Trump's name I'm outta there!," he told Empire. “With Trump being involved in the show people have a bad taste and don’t want to participate as a spectator or sponsor or in any other way support the show. It’s a very divisive period right now, and I think the show got caught up in all that division."

With Trump continuing to profit from the show as a producer, the social media campaign #grabyourwallet went after it, asking viewers and sponsors to turn their backs on the once-popular show.
Before Schwarzenegger, Trump hosted the show from 2007 to 2015. Schwarzenegger and Trump famously feuded over the show after the president took to Twitter to mock its ratings under his successor.

Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got "swamped" (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT. So much for....

being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported Kasich & Hillary

I wish you the best of luck and I hope you'll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings.
