1 Killed, 1 Injured in 2 Separate Shootings In Nearby Fairfield
BREAKING: A party with more than 100 in attendance was the scene of one of the incidents, police said.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA β Police in Fairfield are investigating two separate shootings Saturday night that killed one victim and left another injured.
At around 9:05 p.m., police received several calls reporting a shooting in the 800 block of East Travis Boulevard in Fairfield.
Officers found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene, police said. He was taken to a trauma center where he was pronounced dead.

At 9:41 p.m., police received calls reporting a shooting in the 600 block of Greentree Circle in Fairfield.
The shooting took place inside a residence at a party with more than 100 people in attendance, police said.

Due to the large crowd and the number of officers busy investigating the earlier shooting, police requested assistance from the Solano County Sheriff's Department, the California Highway Patrol and police
from Vallejo and Vacaville.
Police searched the area for suspects and victims, and then learned that a male gunshot victim had been dropped off at a hospital in Vallejo.
The victim is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
