Assemblymember Jim Frazier co-hosts free Child Safety-Seat Training in Suisun City

CHP will be at the Kroc Center on July 8 to ensure that car seats and booster seats are properly installed in vehicles

SUISUN CITY βˆ’ Assemblymember Jim Frazier is teaming up with the California Highway Patrol to offer a free Child Safety-Seat Training for parents and caregivers in Solano County on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

From 9 a.m. to noon, families are invited to drive to Salvation Army Kroc Center, 586 E. Wigeon Way in Suisun City, where child passenger safety technicians will be on hand to ensure that car seats and booster seats are properly installed in vehicles.

Under California law, children must be restrained in a child safety seat until age 8 or until they reach a height of 4 feet 9 inches.

The inspectors, who are certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, will show parents how various seatbelts and child safety seats work to protect their children. The seminar promises to be fun and interactive.
