Attempted-Murder Suspect From Lake Co. Arrested After SWAT Standoff In Solano Co.
Investigators reportedly tracked the man to a home in Fairfield.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – A resident from Lake County and Fairfield, wanted for suspicion of attempted murder, was arrested this morning after a stand-off with Solano County law enforcement, including a SWAT team, plus closure of a Fairfield street.
Ronald Blesio, 39, was apprehended around 1 a.m. at a Fairfield residence near East Tabor and Olive avenues, according to the Fairfield Police Department. Police closed Olive Avenue due to the incident, but it has since reopened.
The Fairfield PD Special Operations Team was asked Thursday to assist the Lake County Sheriff’s Department in arresting Blesio, whom investigators believed was at a house on the 4300 block of Olive in unincorporated Fairfield, police said.

Officers surrounded the location and had occupants, seven in total, leave the home, however, Blesio remained barricaded inside, police said. "Based on the crime, firearm use and barricaded nature, the Fairfield Police Department SWAT was called out," the agency said.
Using a Bearcat, robots, cameras and chemical agents, the SWAT team removed Blesio from the residence without injury, police said.

"We would like to thank the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, Fairfield Fire Department, Medic Ambulance and the Olive Avenue residents (who allowed the police department to occupy their land for our numerous vehicles) for their assistance," police said.
Residents were warned during the police activity on Olive to expect to hear loud noises, including public address systems and banging noises.
