Westbound I-80 Reopens After Collision: UPDATE

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – UPDATE: THURSDAY, JUNE 8, 9:12 a.m.

All lanes are open again on westbound Interstate Highway 80 in Fairfield after a collision this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision was reported around 6:40 a.m. just west of Travis Boulevard and caused a slight fuel spill, CHP officials said.

All lanes reopened at 8:06 a.m.

THURSDAY, JUNE 8, 7:38 a.m.

Three lanes are currently blocked on westbound Interstate Highway 80 just west of Travis Boulevard in Fairfield due to a collision, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision was first reported at 6:42 a.m.

At 6:49 a.m. a Sig-alert was issued because three westbound lanes are blocked.
