Olive Harvest has begun! Il Fiorello offers custom, organic and community milling. We use a state-of-the-art continuous system mill produced to our specification by Gruppo Pieralisi, the leading producer of olive milling equipment in the world. Our mill is the most modern and high technology milling machine in North America, one of only about 50 olive mills in the United States. It is a closed system of continuous milling, providing minimal oxygen contact, with the preferred two phase oil extraction process. The two phase system uses both a decanter and a separator to produce the purest, and can mill 6000 lbs (3 tons) an hour at steady state operation.
Community Milling days are designed for growers with less than the minimum requirement of 800lbs of olives for Custom Milling. This is a day to enjoy being with other growers and make a unique Suisun Valley Blend from your own trees! All types of olives are welcome. Community Milling days are Sunday, October 23rd & Sunday, November 27th.
